Mentoring opportunity from Pro:NE

Pro:NE is a network created by five leading universities (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland and Teesside) in the North-East of England to widen access and participation for racially minoritised ethnic students and staff in postgraduate research.

Teesside University Pro:NE teams are looking for Black, Asian, and minority ethnic students who are currently enrolled on a postgraduate research course to join this successful mentoring programme.

There is an opportunity to have up to two staff mentors from one of the following universities (Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Sunderland, and Teesside) assigned to you. This would mean having academic companions who could provide research and career advice in an informal mentor role.

You need to be: A postgraduate research student and a home student who is black, Asian or from a minority ethnicity.
