Student Recruitment & Marketing

Creative request enquiry

Student Recruitment & Marketing (SRM) supports creative project requests that are directly aligned to our student recruitment or broader institutional objectives.

We're here to ensure that your engagement with our external audiences is always purposeful, high-quality and on-brand.

To do this, we require all our internal clients to follow the below process when requesting support for a creative project. Note that all creative project requests are discretionary, and subject to the SRM Senior Management Team's approval.

We have a range of branded templates (in word and powerpoint formats) available for schools and departments to use.

Process

1. Approval within School/department

Discuss your requirements and gain authorisation with your School/Department marketing lead, to ensure the appropriateness of your request.

2. Complete Creative request form

Once approved, please submit a creative request. The SRM marketing team will review your request and either contact you to discuss your brief and agree actions, or assign to another relevant department, usually within 3 working days of the request submission.

3. Agree project details

Once the details of your project have been agreed, the marketing team will progress your job with the SRM digital and design team.

4. Supply final content

Any content required to progress your creative project must be supplied as plain text in Word with all formatting removed. Images or logos should be supplied separately. The content supplied MUST be the final, edited content, and have been agreed with all of your stakeholders prior to submission. Use our writing style for guidance.

5. Agree deadlines

The target deadlines for all creative project requests will be agreed by SRM, based on our project lead times. Note that these are indicative only and cannot be guaranteed.

6. Final sign off

Once the first artwork proof has been created, this will be shared with you for sign-off or any required amends. Please ensure that ALL amends are captured at this stage to limit the number of subsequent artwork proofs.
