My role deals largely with ensuring students are adhering to the attendance and engagement policy. This includes monitoring student attendance, approving absences, sending out attendance related emails and everything in between.

What do you most enjoy about your role?
One thing I enjoy about my role is working alongside the great team. We are a close-knit team and it’s very nice to work alongside people who are willing to help. I also enjoy speaking with the students and helping them where necessary.
How does your role benefit and support students?
Majorly, it helps to remind students of the need to attend their classes. They’ve made a huge investment to be at university, so I like to believe that my regular emails and checks help them remember the investment they’ve made to be here.
