Course overview

You learn through weekly pre-recorded content and tasks that you can work through at your own, supported by weekly session via Microsoft Teams. Your learning materials are available on the University's online learning platform.

This course is delivered online. Please check the entry requirements tab before making your application to ensure you meet the entry criteria and have all the minimum equipment necessary to take part.

Start date: Starts Tuesday 21 January, Tuesdays for eight weeks, 6.00pm-9.00pm

You can study up to 30 credits at Winter University and you can select up to three modules on the same application form. If you would like to add a module later, or change one of your choices, then please email winter.university@tees.ac.uk.

How you are assessed

100% in course assessment on a pass/fail basis.

You submit a portfolio containing research and practical work, demonstrating an understanding of AI and data science knowledge and skills. A full brief is provided at the start of the course.

Minimum software requirements
- RStudio (Please download ahead of the first class)

As this is an online course you need access to a computer and be comfortable learning through an online platform. A strong and stable internet connection is required, and a webcam and microphone to participate in any interactive elements of the course.

International applicants must have an IELTS overall score of 5.5 or higher.
