Campus Masterplan

Campus Masterplan

With £280m invested to date, the campus masterplan sets out a dynamic and ambitious programme of investment to 2027, transforming the campus and providing vibrant and modern facilities to enhance the experience of students, staff and partners.

We are transforming our campus over the next five years to reinforce our commitment to providing an outstanding student and learning experience.

Recent developments in phase 1 (2017-2022) of our campus masterplan include: refurbishment of the library, relocation of professional services staff to The Printworks, a new all-weather sports facility and gym, the National Horizons Centre, a biomedical teaching and research facility at the University's Darlington campus, a major building refurbishment to create the Teesside University International Business School and ongoing transformation of existing residential accommodation.

We are committed to investing in our estate to further enhance the experiences of our students, the business community, and the wider communities we serve.

We have also recently completed the Student Life building for all student-facing services, and the Cornell Quarter (our new purpose-built 300 bed residential accommodation facility) along with repurposing the Victoria building to provide business enterprise incubation space and improvements to the Darlington Campus to further support our health and life sciences offer.
