MIMA has changing seasonal exhibitions, collection displays, learning activities and community-focused initiatives involving collaborators locally, nationally and internationally. It also houses the Middlesbrough Collection, a permanent display which highlights the influence and use of art and craft in the town. This rich resource is part of your learning experience.
MIMA has a vision to put art into action in the world. You engage in this mission through contributing to an aspect of MIMA's work supporting communities - this could be helping serve community lunch, supporting the MIMA Community Garden or Cloth Club.
