We also offer bespoke Clinical Leadership and Improvement courses. This covers a range of audiences and clinical levels and includes: Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health Professions, and Clinical Non-Registered Workforce.

The National Horizons Centre (NHC) is a cutting-edge facility dedicated to bioscience innovation, boasting state-of-the-art infrastructure and a £22.3m investment. Anchored by research, partnerships, and training programmes, it merges industry, academia, and technology to drive development. The centre has a focus on disease-specific research, biomanufacturing, and digital analytics, as well as advancing early disease detection, novel treatments, and cost-effective medicine delivery. It collaborates with a diverse range of partners, including public health bodies and businesses, accelerating innovation.
BIOS, a £36.9m project by Wates, is Teesside University's latest centre, enhancing learning and healthcare provision. The state-of-the-art facility features digital anatomy labs, an oral health research centre, and immersive simulation suites.
With strategic NHS partnerships, BIOS aims to address regional skill gaps and support workforce development, aligning with the university's broader campus masterplan, which includes investments in sustainability, student life, and accommodation.
