A ‘Tad’ of French portal knowledge from Teesside University

27 April 2012

Tad Web Solutions are benefitting from two Teesside University interns.

Tad Web Solutions, established in September 2011, offers web design, hosting, web-based applications and e-marketing to SMEs – the business is run by Ian Elcoate and his son.

Mathieu Camps Budynek and Guillaume Averlant, both students are from the University of Toulouse. They are studying their fourth semester at Teesside University as part of their computing degree through a scheme designed and developed by Teesside, with over ten partners across France. Students study at the University and undertake a live project either in industry or onsite. They can provide industry with the trendsetting developments they need to remain competitive, whilst providing valuable growth potential.

The duo, who are here from January until June, are developing a specialised geo-location web portal and an online educational tool for Tad Web Solutions. The web portal is being developed in conjunction with RSPB Saltholme and is part of a new business venture with three other businesses in the North of England.

Tad Web Solutions are delighted to have the students working for them – with two interns they can work towards growing the applications they need to start growing as a business.
