We're lucky to have our very own art gallery, MIMA (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art). Using the gallery as a platform, cultural hub and creative resource, our programmes develop and support you to become a unique, industry-ready talent.
We offer an exciting and distinctive range of hands-on media and communications courses designed to help you expand your critical thinking and creativity.
Studying this subject opens up a number of career pathways, from professional sound to acoustics and audio software development.
Today's production industries demand highly trained, professional practitioners who can demonstrate a clear understanding of contemporary creative performance and production techniques.
Our creative professional apprenticeships are unique to Teesside University. Developed and delivered in partnership with key stakeholders from the creative industries, our programmes offer dynamic, exciting, and rewarding careers, while contributing to the growth, as well as the social and cultural success of our local and national economies.
