'Marks on the Land' is a screening of ‘In the Veins’, a short film commissioned by Teesside University and produced by the Yorkshire and North East Film Archive to provide a catalyst for conversation about communities built on coal. Produced in collaboration with a group of local Community Curators, the film provides an emotional and timely reminder of the Miners' Strikes.
This screening will be followed by a Q&A with historian Ben Lamb, Yorkshire and North East Film Archive Manager Graham Relton and members of the Community Curatorial group who were instrumental in ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of the film.’ This event is part of Teesside University's 2024 festival Hub programme.
