Academic Writing Month runs in November every year and challenges writers to think more about their writing and set themselves goals for the month.

Academic Writing Month can help with developing good writing strategies, overcoming blocks to writing and making writing part of your every day.

The academic community around the world take up the challenge to share tips and record their progress using the hashtag #AcWriMo

In 2023 at Teesside, we are challenging PhD students to think more about their writing and attend events during the month that are aimed at improving writing skills.

The Library’s Succeed@Tees November workshops, include two specific #AcWriMo workshops. Introduction to using Endnote and Publishing and Open Access Options at Teesside University.
