An Introduction to Fashion Styling

You are introduced to the principles of fashion styling. You explore the practical representation of fashion and investigate approaches to fashion styling through a fashion editorial and/or a styling portfolio.

 

Credits: 10, Level: 4

 

Course overview

You also explore the process of styling for editorial, commercial, and personal circumstances through case studies and simulated clients, the influences of trends, mainstream media, and social platforms.

You develop a digital outcome using fashion imagery, industry-targeted mood-boards, simulation, and online resources. Each week you develop skills to effectively execute your own styling portfolio.
