Course overview
The Open Access Collection Store is a special opportunity to view the entire collection of ceramic and jewellery held within the Middlesbrough Collection. Displayed by production date, the ceramic and jewellery collections illuminate cultural life and artist practices locally, nationally, and globally.
MIMA’s Inspired By workshops are an opportunity to learn a new skill and experiment with creative techniques in an informal setting with guidance from experts from the School of Arts & Creative Industries, Teesside University. They take inspiration from artists and artworks in MIMA’s exhibitions programme and the Middlesbrough Collection.
Part of MIMA Creative Academy, a creative enterprise programme of activities that serves individuals and businesses. Powered by Teesside University's School of Arts & Creative Industries and MIMA.
Facilitator
Vicky Graham has worked as a senior technician for 15 years, with a background in textiles and surface design that has developed into a love for all analogue processes, including screen printing, fabric dying, ink making, book binding and hectograph printing.

How you learn
Spend time with artworks at MIMA and create a portfolio of materials to use as inspiration in your own artwork, with the guidance and support of experienced technicians in the workshops on Campus.
