80s & 90s themed sponsored aerobics event!
If you have two left feet, a lack of coordination but love to dance, own some leg warmers and love drag... then this event was made for you.
For World AIDS Day the LGBTQ+ focus group are hosting a sponsored 80s and 90s style aerobics session. This is to raise money for the charity Terry Higgins Trust to support the incredible work they do within our communities and across the UK supporting those living with AIDS.
Aerobics revolutionised dance style exercise, paving the way for well known brands such as Zumba and Body Jam. It encouraged and empowered so many people to get involved in fitness, through it's fun and expressive approach to movement, which is why we want to revive it and use it to support a cause which is close to our hearts.
The two hours will be split into two sessions:
12.00-12.45pm with Jo Durston and 1.00-1.45pm with Natasha Livingstone.
