Why Teesside?

I knew a postgraduate degree from a UK university would help progress in my career. I was motivated by being the first female in my family to study at postgraduate level and chose Teesside because of the high-quality teaching, great facilities and experienced lecturers. After doing some research Teesside was the obvious choice.

Why this course?

Progressing in my career is important to me and this course teaches you so much about international business which gives you an advantage against those who have not completed this course. The content is relevant and taught in an engaging way.

Favourite thing about the course?

The entire course is great, but I specifically enjoy the managerial aspects, learning about areas such as human resource management, organisational behaviour and globalisation and culture. The course broadens your understanding in a challenging yet insightful way, which is a great way of learning.

Did you take part in any clubs or societies?

I was a member and vice change for communications of the Ghana society. The society is a place for Ghanaian students to talk about our shared and different experiences studying in the UK.

I have improved my critical thinking skills as well as working independently, vital for any workplace, and Teesside puts an emphasis on improving these by including group projects and individual assignments in each module.
