Why Teesside?

I knew that I needed to advance my learning as much as possible to further my career and completing a postgraduate degree would help me achieve that.

I chose Teesside as the Business School has an excellent reputation. The staff, resources and facilities are of a high quality, which makes learning easier and more fun. Teaching staff are highly qualified and passionate about the area of international management, which is something I was looking for when applying.

Why this course?

I am naturally attracted to the subject, however the course covers all the essentials of business and management which are vital to further my career, also many of the industry professionals I have worked with recommended this course.

Best thing about the course?

There are a lot of real-life scenarios and situations built into the modules, which gives you a real-time experience and to be as prepared as possible once you have left university.

Favourite module?

I enjoy the Managing in a Challenging Environment and Global Business Environment: Culture, Management and the Economy modules as you focus on how to manage businesses and projects in real-life situations.

How are the facilities and services?

The services are amazing and helpful. The Student Futures team has been especially helpful with CV building and finding work experience.

What is Middlesbrough like?

It is a quiet and peaceful place to live, but there is plenty for you to do in your spare time. Everything is nearby, so you don’t have to spend a lot on transport.

Tell us what skills you have gained?

Learning more about business issues and how to properly run a project are two highlights, and I have greatly improved my communication and leadership skills, which will help me throughout my career.
