Why Teesside?

I always wanted to continue my learning to postgraduate level. When I came to Middlesbrough in 2013, I knew Teesside was the best place for me because it was easily accessible with many transport links to the town.

Why this course?

I enjoy getting to know people and discussing our shared experiences. This course was the perfect opportunity for me to study my interests at a high level and develop myself. Thanks to this course I am able to continue supporting people in the workplace.

Best thing about the course?

The Developing Self and Others module gives you the knowledge to be able to reflect on yourself and your work so you can make improvements. The diary aspect of the course allows you to look back and see clearly where you have improved both in your personal and professional life.

What is Middlesbrough like?

Middlesbrough and the surrounding area make you feel welcomed and safe in the town. The area is very diverse and it’s interesting meeting and speaking to people with different backgrounds and cultures to yourself.

What skills have you gained?

You learn so many skills that help you during your studies and after. My confidence has increased a lot by taking part in group projects and my report writing and research skills have improved as well.

Would you recommend Teesside?

Yes. The course is excellent and covers a range of content and it is suitable for anyone wanting to learn more about the area.
