Why university and why Teesside?

I wanted to work towards becoming a crime scene investigator. Teesside offers a student placement with Cleveland Police’s CSI department, which was an amazing opportunity for me to gain experience.

Best part about the course?

My placement – I completed volume crime scenes and achieved many positive identifications which assists in identifying criminals so they can be arrested. I also liked the Forensic Evidence and Recovery, Crime Scene Investigation and Major Incident Investigation modules. I’m enjoying the module we’re currently doing too, which is Human Identification and Forensic Imaging.

Thoughts on the campus?

The campus overall is great and there are plenty of food and drink services. The Library is great for studying.
