This summer programme provides Teesside University students with an opportunity to explore Prague and the Czech Republic while gaining important industry experience through contact with PCU industry partners. The programme is specially designed for Teesside University students, providing a balance between relevant academic coursework, industry visits, and cultural organisations and events.
The main focus is on providing academic, professional and cultural insight for those exploring future career paths, while also getting first-hand experience within the wide range of artistic, cultural, business, IT and creative industries that the Czech Republic is known for.
Each week has a classroom element combined with an excursion to PCU industry partners and or cultural activities. You'll also have free time to explore the city and local surroundings.

I learnt a lot of skills in my classes at the university such as marketing and storytelling in marketing, which will really benefit me in the future as I wish to go into journalism. I also learnt a lot about the culture over there such as the transport and the history about the Czech Republic and their split from Slovakia.
