Local documentaries screened at University

Members of the media are invited to special screening of documentaries by local film makers at the University of Teesside’s Innovation & Virtual Reality Centre (main hall) on Wednesday 15 September, 6pm – 9pm. The event is by invite only and will include local VIPs and industry professionals.

The new film makers have all taken part in the Northern Shorts Introduction to Factual Television Production course, learning all areas of production including finding a subject to document, interviewing, writing, filming and editing. The course is recognised by the television industry as being both a thorough training ground and source of new talent and has been funded by European Social Fund cultural skills development programme, which offers free Creative Courses to people in the North East.  For more details contact Matt Burrows 01642 384220 or email creatives@teess.co.uk
