The event has been sponsored by the University of Teesside, the BBC, Tyne Tees Television and the Royal Television Society, and will feature the work of 50 young people from the North-East, aged 12-18. Featured work includes pastiches of gangster movies and horror films, and boasts some innovative animation.
Professor Paul Wells, Head of the Media Academic section at the University of Teesside said: “This is an important development for the University in working with the region’s media organisations, in promoting and profiling the production work of young film and video practitioners”.
