Develop your Advanced Searching Skills – Health Students

This optional (online) module covers some key skills for structured searching for Health Students.

What:
This optional module is designed to support final/penultimate year undergraduate students and taught postgraduates who need to carry out a structured search for a dissertation/systematic review in health.

    The module looks at some key skills which are needed when structured searching:
  • Planning a structured search
  • Searching in key health databases
  • Managing search results

Where:
The module runs online via MS Teams.

When:
The module runs over 4 consecutive weeks on Wednesday afternoons from 1-2pm, starting on 5th March 2025.

How:
If you would like to take part in the module (it is optional and does not form part of your University graded degree), please sign up via the link by 4pm on Tuesday, 4th March 2025.
