Are you interested in becoming a health visitor or school nurse?
Come along to our online open event to hear about our exciting new programmes. We have worked very closely with our students, service users and practice partners to develop these programmes to ensure you have the best learning experience possible. You spend more time in the practice setting than in theoretical learning to maximise practice learning opportunities and ensure you are well prepared for the specialist community public health nurse (SCPHN) role.
You will be well supported in the programme with our proactive approach to student support, wide range of support services and strong partnerships with practice partners. Our course activities are designed to engage you with inclusion and wellbeing, and you can engage with service users and specialist practitioners to enhance your learning experiences.
During the event, hear more about what the programme entails, the qualifications you need, how to apply and future career paths. You can have your questions answered by the course team, meet our practice partners and speak to a SCPHN practice assessor. If you are considering developing your nursing or midwifery career to become a SCPHN, the team at Teesside can help.
